Where do you ship to in the world?

We ship all over New Zealand.

We also ship to Australia, United Kingdom and USA.

We aim to dispatch orders within 24-48 hours. 

Shipping time frames vary depending on where your order is being sent. This information will be shown to you at the checkout when you select shipping. 

Where is Shirley's Sweets and Candy's Based?

We are based in Dunedin, New Zealand.

How do i track my order?

You will receive a notification from the courier company as soon as your order has been picked up. 

From that email you can then track your order. 

Do you despatch in the weekend?

We operate on Business days only. (Monday to Friday).

We are not open on Public Holidays.

We are open 9am - 5pm.

How do i order lollies?

All orders are processed through our online store. Scroll through all our menus to see our collection of products and select the items you would like to order and add them to your cart before proceeding to the secure checkout.

An email address is required to checkout on our store.

You will receive an order confirmation email within 10 mins of placing your order.

We only hold a certain level of stock for each product line. If you place a large order for a single product line, there may be a delay in sourcing the additional stock. We will communicate with you if this is the case. 

we will offer you an alternative product or a refund for the unavailable product if we cannot source anymore in a sufficient time frame.


How can i pay for my order?

Payment methods we have available are: 

- Debit/Credit card

- Afterpay 

- Laybuy

All of our prices are in New Zealand Dollars.

We reserve the right to amend or rectify any errors in pricing or product description within 24 hours of being notified of it. 


How are my lollies packed?

We pack all of our Pick Your Own lollies separately into cellophane bags which we heat seal to keep the lollies fresh. If you are wanting your lollies packed another way then please let us know in the comments section at checkout. (Eaxmple: Layered or Mixed).

Larger quantities are packed into clear stand up pouches which are then heat sealed to keep the lollies fresh. 


Can i pick up my order?

Yes you can! We offer FREE local pickup.

When you place your order we will usually pack it within 24-48 hours and then we will send you an email to let you know its ready. You will then let us know what time you will be collecting so we can place it in the pickup box at our door for you. Please do not come and collect your order until we have sent you the order ready email. 

Pickup orders can be collected Monday to Friday between 9:30am - 6:30pm.

Do you have clearance items?

We have a clearance section on our website where you will find items such as Damaged, past their best before dates, deleted lines, etc. 

We always keep a very close eye on items past their best before dates to make sure they are still fresh and edible. Anything that does not meet these standards will not be sold under our clearance section. We need to make sure we are still selling safe products. 

Most manufacturers will put a Best Before date many months before any loss of product freshness is noticeable as they want you to be eating their product at its optimum quality.

Where can i find Ingredients lists and Nutritional info on products you stock?

Each of our product pages has all of this information. If it isn't stated on their it will be in photo form for you to look at on that same page.

If any of our products don't have this information please let us know. 

Do you have lollies that are Gluten Free?

We do carry a lot of lollies that are stated on the packaging as Gluten Free but we are not set up to be able to pack these lollies separately in their own sterile packing environment and all of them are packed alongside other items which are not Gluten Free.

If you would still like to purchase products that were originally labelled Gluten Free (before entering our packing facility) and don't mind that they are packaged alongside other products, please review our ingredients and nutritional information on each product page. 

How much is 100g?

We get asked this question a lot. Below are some pictures to show you what 100g looks like. 100g does vary depending on size/weight etc of the lolly.

Can i request a lolly be stocked in your online store?

Yes of course you can! We are always open to everyone making suggestions for us and we will always do our best to get that lolly in if we think it will sell well for us. 


Do you do custom order?

Yes! we love doing custom orders. We do a lot of custom Birthday Boxes for our customers.
